A Beautiful Weekend!

Today the weather is back to Pacific Northwest rain, but this weekend we had beautiful weather- sixties and sunny! I had a paper to write but luckily I was able to create enough shade on the front stoop to be able to see my computer and still be outside.

A got to truly enjoy the sunshine. On Saturday he started the Raspberry Chocolate Stout and mowed the lawn.

Molly is enjoying the sticks in the fire pit and being outside without getting wet for a change. Also, check out the garlic! It is not ready to come out of the ground yet but you can see it growing fast in the front bed.
Andrew is cooling to wort after hours of boiling. It smelled very good!

The dress is done!

And it does not fit. So now it belongs to Amy. I considered trying to take it in but since the hems were all done, it was not worth it. She is very excited, as you can see.

Anyway, now I am on to my next project. Curtains for our bedroom and a pencil case for Meghan are at the top of the list. A also has some projects coming up- he promised me that he will make a Chocolate Raspberry Stout and a painting for over the couch in the living room.

Of course, don't expect another post for a week or so... remember- I have sew little time!

I have so little time...

But I love to sew and create things in general! A- my husband- also has a passion for creating things himself: music, art, beer... This will be my space for sharing the things we make and our adventure along the way.
